If you would like a copy of the weekly bulletin or prayer/praise list, please contact the church or Pastor Kevin. We can email a copy or send it to you in the mail.
Tithes and offerings can be dropped off at the church or they can be mailed. You can also do direct/online bill pay through your local bank. A check is sent automatically from the bank to the church on a schedule that you choose.
Donations to the deacon fund can be mailed to the church. This offering is used to assist families within the church and throughout the community. Checks can be written to First Baptist Church. Please designate deacon fund on the memo line.

Friday, November 14 – Saturday, November 15 – Sr. High Convention for grades 9-12 at St. Alban’s First Baptist Church. Sign up at the Lighthouse or contact Pastor Kevin or Liam Gallagher. We will meet at the Lighthouse on Friday at 4:00p.m. and return Saturday at 11:30p.m.
Saturday, November 15, 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. – Winter Clothing Giveaway at Lighthouse. Free coats, hoodies, scarves, toboggans, etc. Donations can be put in the porch at the Ministry House beginning November 2.
Sunday, November 16, 10:45a.m. – Shoebox Dedication during morning worship.
November 16 – 23 – Shoebox Collection week at the Lighthouse. Days and times are listed on the Lighthouse door.
Thursday, November 27 , 12:00p.m. – Community Thanksgiving Dinner – Take-out, delivery, or dine-in. Reservation forms are on the table at the bottom of the steps. We need help in the kitchen and volunteers to package and deliver meals.
Saturday, November 29, 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. – Christmas Craft and Vendor Show at the Lighthouse to benefit Baptist Youth Fellowship. Set-up fee is $30.00 for a 10×10 space. Set-up starts at 7:00a.m. To reserve a spot call or text 304-677-1453.
December
Saturday, December 6, 4:00-8:00p.m. – Youth will be selling pork barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, and drinks at the Lighthouse. Dine-in or take-out available.
Saturday, December 6, 6:00p.m. – Christmas parade in downtown Shinnston.
Saturday, December 6, 7:00p.m. – Community Band Christmas Concert at the Lighthouse.
